Learners

Our learners are women facing economic, social and/or academic barriers and who use the services of our partnering agencies.  Our learners often rely on government services and support for basic needs. These women typically have little or no experience using technology, have limited education and are often intimidated at being in an academic classroom setting. We work with the partner to recruit, maintain and graduate learners from our programs. Our participation completion rate is over 95%. Through the generous support of the Leacross Foundation, iSisters launched its newest video on October 6, 2015. We are sincerely grateful to Roslyn Bern, President of Leacross without whom this project would not have been possible.  A special 'thank you' to Omer Abdallah and the team at Gordongroup Marketing Solutions for producing the video.
