iSisters Celebrates Multi-Year Grant Support from Johansen-Larsen Foundation

The Johansen-Larsen Foundation (JLF) announced that it will continue to support iSisters with multi-year funding for the next three years. Foundation President, Marianne Larsen, was in Ottawa today to hand-deliver a $10,000 cheque to iSisters Board Chair, Claire Toplis, while touring iSisters' community partner, Youville Centre. The Johansen-Larsen Foundation was established to provide funding for educational initiatives related to marginalized children and youth, and animals at risk. In the last three years, JLF has supported the Technology Mentoring for Young Moms Program as well as the iSisters iPad Program. This multi-year funding will be directed to open operational and program development funding. "Congratulations! We are very pleased to continue building our partnership with iSisters and supporting the excellent work that you do with young mothers and women. " M. Larsen
