Lanark County Interval House

As a feminist organization, Lanark County Interval House (LCIH) works towards a society in which men and women are equal participants regardless of race, ethnicity, economic background, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.

LCIH offers the following programs:

Shelter & Residential Program providing emergency shelter to women and their children who are immediately threatened by abuse and gender based violence.

Transitional Support Program offering short-term support to women who are transitioning from the shelter back into the community.

Outreach Programs providing services to women and their children in Lanark County who require support as they establish their lives free of violence and control.

Public Education Program providing training and workshops on violence against women and healthy relationship to schools, agencies, service providers, community groups, and businesses.
