IMMIGRANT WOMAN SERVICES OTTAWA
iSisters and Immigrant Women Services Ottawa

This new employment support program was designed for immigrant women who are survivors of violence. We are thrilled to have the chance to work with women from all over the world at IWSO. A pilot class started in October 2006.
IWSO is one of our most popular and successful programs.
In the past year alone, between 2009-2010, we have graduated over 250 women from our introductory and advanced programs!
Listen to the CBC radio interview by Julie Ireton.
Participants in this program learn how to:
- use the Internet and Email,
- be safe online and judge online content,
- use a Word processor to make a resume,
- and other technology skills that build their individual employability.
