PROGRAMS
Each year iSisters engages in a formal partnership with community organizations supporting women in need.
In June of 2010, iSisters celebrated it's 1000th graaduate!
Our current 2010 partners are: Immigrant Women Services Ottawa, Cornerstone, St. Joe’s Woman’s Centre and Tungasuvvingat Inuit.
Previous partnerships include: Youville Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa and St. Mary’s Home.

Each program is designed in collaboration with the partner and customized for the specific learning needs of the target group.
While each program is unique, all programs aim to help women: learn about technology, explore career options, encourage life
long learning, gain self esteem, improve earning potential and economic independence.
iSisters learning programs are aligned to ISTE NETS (International Society of Technology in Education National Education
Technology Standards) and the Conference Board of Canada’s Employability Skills 2000+.
Since 2001 we have worked with over 1000 women helping them to learn about technology, media literacy, gain self esteem,
explore career options and prepare for the paid workforce.
