Jennifer McEvoy, an Ottawa native with a passion for helping others first got involved with iSisters sitting on the Board of Directors as the Director of Volunteer Management. Jennifer's desire to help women who are disadvantaged by life circumstances to reconnect and establish themselves within their community led Jennifer to pursue a full-time position as the Executive Director for iSisters. Jennifer held the Executive Director position from April 2008 to December 2009. Jennifer remains a devoted supporter.
Prior to joining iSisters, over a seven-year span Jennifer held various positions with increasing responsibility in marketing, public relations and public involvement for Canadian Blood Services' national office. Her hands-on experience in event management, national volunteer/program management as well as managing a variety of stakeholder involvement and outreach initiatives contributed to her success with iSisters. Jennifer has also worked with Export Development Canada, Source Facilities Management and Nine West, abroad, in London England.
