Karen is a reporter at CTV Ottawa and has strong ties to the community. She’s called Ottawa home since 2001. She first heard of iSisters when she was hosting ‘A’ Morning and immediately wanted to get involved to help women with the resources they need to learn and embrace technology.
Karen is a Saskatchewan export and has worked at 3 television stations in Winnipeg during her 15 years in television broadcasting. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba and a Communications Diploma from Red River College in Winnipeg.
Karen is also Co-Chair of United Way Ottawa’s Volunteer Recognition, and has been on the Kindness Week Committee for since its inception.
During her down time Karen enjoys in-line skating, yoga, pilates, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, reading, watching movies, spending time with her husband and their standard poodle Rosco.
