Accenture: Five Years of Continued Support!

Earlier this month, Accenture announced it would continue its support of iSisters with a $5,000 grant.

iSisters is pleased to direct this generous donation from Accenture to the iSisters Career Connections Program.

Career Connections addresses the needs identified in the communities of our program partners by focusing on two skill-building areas:

  1. Information and communications technology (ICT) Training
  2. Career exploration and entrepreneurship

This program broadens employment opportunities for our learners, and provides job search and career development skills through training and mentorship – building skills that enable women to participate in and contribute to the economy.

All classes are delivered by iSisters as well as volunteer community employment and entrepreneurial specialists, and volunteers from Accenture.

Last year with Accenture’s volunteer support, we successfully equipped 54 women with skills to get a job or start a business achieving our impact goal.

This year will mark five years of funding and volunteer support from Accenture.
