New Flex Foundation Grant Supporting Not 1, but 2 Community Partners

The Flex Foundation recently announced its decision to grant iSisters $17,500 USD in support of the iSisters Career Connections Program which will be offered at two community service partners: Immigrant Women’s Services Organization (IWSO) and Tungasuvvingat Inuit Centre.

iSisters’ overall vision is closely aligned with that of the Flex Foundation, in particular the value of Innovation through Collaboration, People, and Community.

The Career Connections program drives social and economic change at the local level by empowering women in need — often young mothers — with technology and job search skills, as well as the ability to build their own business, to overcome unemployment and limited education.

In support of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and Flex’s 20 by 2020 Goals, The Foundation previously funded iSisters in 2018.

iSisters is sincerely grateful to the Flex Foundation for their support.
