Ottawa Community Foundation Invested for Good with iSisters

The Ottawa Community Foundation (OCF) recently announced its approval for a $20,050 grant for iSisters.

Funding granted by OCF will support the evolution of the iSisters Community Impact Project in partnership with the Ottawa Community Housing Foundation (OCHF) and Britannia Woods Community House. This program empowers local women in need living in OCHF housing by providing computer and job search skills necessary to overcome unemployment, limited education and social exclusion.

The intended impact is to help as many women possible in the Britannia Woods community increase their technology skills and move toward economic independence.

iSisters is very grateful to OCF’s continued support.
