iSisters offers free computer, technology and employability skills training for women in need. Each iSisters program is designed in collaboration with the partner organization through which it is offered, and customized for the specific learning needs of the students. While each program is unique, all aim to help disadvantaged women:
- learn about computers and technology
- explore career options
- encourage life-long learning
- improve self-esteem
- improve earning potential and economic independence
iSisters learning programs are aligned to ISTE NETS (International Society of Technology in Education National Education Technology Standards) and the Conference Board of Canada’s Employability Skills 2000+.
Finally, all iSisters computer and technology training is offered at no cost to both our partners and learners.
